Our Mission

Education and enjoyment…

We’re essentially a friendly group of people who wish both to study and to enjoy the organ and its music. We devise a programme for each year that enables us to share a wide range of activities.

For listeners as well as players…

There are no restrictions on membership: it is not necessary to be an organist, as we welcome all who are interested in the organ and its music, whether as players or as listeners.

Amateur or Professional…

Our members include players of all abilities, professional and amateur, and others who simply enjoy listening and learning more about the organ, its repertoire, history, and so on. We welcome new members, and will always encourage those – both young and old – who are interested in the organ and in our Association.

The Worcestershire Organists’ Association (WOA) is affiliated to the Incorporated Association of Organists (the IAO).

You can find out more about our Association from the following pages on this website. Or you can join us on Facebook or Twitter. Most particularly, you would be very welcome to come along to any of our public events and talk to our existing members.

We strongly and actively support the work of the Royal College of Organists, Worcester Cathedral, and the Organ Department of Birmingham Conservatoire.

You will find ways to contact us on the appropriate page of this website: we would welcome your comments and enquiries.
